Consult Digital
Consult Digital provides strategic IT to small and medium businesses across South Africa: cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, managed connectivity and hosting, backed by more than 25 years of combined experience.
The constraint wasn't capability, it was time. The CEO knew who to reach and what to say, but finding prospects, researching them and writing each message took hours every week.
Searching LinkedIn and databases, deciding who in an organisation was worth contacting, writing emails one by one and tracking follow-ups by hand: it worked, but it didn't scale.
The system
What we built.
Step 01
Lead sourcing
Contact data pulled from Apollo via Apify against predefined criteria: profiles, titles, business emails and company descriptions.
Step 02
Decision-maker filtering
An AI step reviews each lead and keeps the people who can buy: CEOs, operations managers, IT directors.
Step 03
Personalised drafting
Each email references the prospect's business, location or industry, so it reads as written for them.
Step 04
Campaign tracking
Leads, campaigns and responses stored in Supabase and shown on a custom dashboard.
Step 05
Weekly report
A summary email every week: leads sourced, emails sent, progress. No dashboard login required.
Stack: Apify · Apollo · Supabase · AI drafting · Custom dashboard
- Cadence · Runs on a schedule several times a week, so outreach never depends on someone remembering.
- AI · Selection puts executives, managers and other decision-makers first.
- AI · Drafting writes subject lines and body copy from each prospect's data.
Takeaway
Automation didn't replace the strategy. It removed the friction around it, so the strategy runs consistently, every week.
